"FilterLists is the independent, comprehensive directory of filter and host lists for advertisements, trackers, malware, and annoyances. Users can find lists to subscribe to in tools like Adblock Plus, uBlock Origin, and AdGuard to protect their security and privacy while searching the web. The 3rd version of the site is built on an ASP.NET Core API with a webpacked React/Typescript front-end. There is also a server-side .NET Core console app that is used as a crawl tool for collecting data about the lists. The data layer is MariaDB accessed via Entity Framework Core. The app and its database are hosted on a single $5/mo. Ubuntu 18.04.1 virtual machine, and the app is built and deployed (as a .NET Core self-contained app) by Travis-CI."
