"The Solcast API estimates and forecasts solar PV power and solar radiation globally. Clouds across the world are tracked and updated every 10-15 minutes using data from the latest generation geostationary weather satellites. Data crunching is performed by non .NET platforms but all data is exposed by the API running .NET Core 2. Solcast API is built on ServiceStack and runs on AWS ECS utilizing Postgres (PostGIS), Redis, QuartzNet, Lambda, S3 and various other technologies to handle the large data throughput requirements this project needs."
