Screenshot for .net mobile app Dutch Roman-era bike tour app (iOS)

"Luxe achter de Limes is an educational app that takes the user on a gps guided bike tour along the many Roman settlement sites in the Netherlands. Using geo-fencing, the app alerts the user to the possibility of interesting virtual artifacts buried in the ground when a user enters a certain area. The virtual artifacts can be excavated in mini-games throughout the app and collected and displayed in a virtual museum. When the user has visited all the sites, the app quizzes the user on everything the app has taught him or her, allowing the user to win the crowning piece for his museum, a shiny roman coin. The app was built with Xamarin.iOS and MvvmCross. The mini-games are developed using JavaScript, shown inside a UIWebView. There is an Android version available as well, also built using Xamarin. This project was a co-op between WijDoenDingen B.V. and Office For Imagination."

A little bit about this site

Hello, I'm Corstiaan. I'm a software developer from the Netherlands and I manage BuiltWithDot.Net. I created this site as a place where developers working with .net technology can showcase their projects and inspire other developers.

There's so much you can build with .net these days that I thought it would be nice to have a corner of the web dedicated to the breadth of .net. Enjoy!

What is the .net community working on?
