"I am a .NET developer who wanted to learn how to do Augmented Reality mobile apps. When I realized that you could use Xamarin, C#, and .NET to target Xamarin's port of Apple's Augmented Reality Framework ARKit, I started learning to do different things in AR and record them as lessons with the code I used. XamarinArkit.com shows how to do different things in Augmented Reality using Xamarin, ARKit, C# and .NET While there seems to be a lot of documentation on how to write iOS AR apps using XCode, Swift, and Objective-C, the documentation on how to do it in Xamarin, .NET and C# is extremely limited. I hope my website helps solve that problem by providing descriptions, code samples, and videos showing how to achieve different things in AR. I am finding the feedback for this project to be very encouraging and will continue to add small lessons as well as larger proof of concepts which combines many of the individual lessons. If you are a .NET developer and have a Mac with Visual Studio for Mac, a recent iOS device, you can do Augmented Reality development too!"

Hello, I'm Corstiaan. I'm a software developer from the Netherlands and I manage BuiltWithDot.Net. I created this site as a place where developers working with .net technology can showcase their projects and inspire other developers.
There's so much you can build with .net these days that I thought it would be nice to have a corner of the web dedicated to the breadth of .net. Enjoy!
