"After more than 7 years in R&D, we've just published vvvv gamma, a visual-first live programming environment for the .NET ecosystem. It uses our new visual programming language VL which compiles to C# using Roslyn and has full state hot-reload to allow you to modify programs while they are running. VL combines metaphors known from dataflow, object-oriented and functional programming - but all visual. If you want, you can extend it with native C# code since it can consume any .NET assembly/nuget directly by providing every method as a visual node. It is free for evaluation and non-commercial use: * Without any restrictions * No registration required * Windows only (for now) Later this year, we will add a powerful 3D engine based on the Xenko (soon to be Stride) open-source game engine. Further on our agenda, incomplete and in no particular order: * C# Live Coding * Deployment: OSX/Linux executables, mobile (iOS/Android), when available investigate deployment to Meadow and ultimately why not to the web. * Run editor on macOS/Linux * Improve Navigation (Browserlike, live object graph, multi-window support) * Integrating additional editors (Node Inspektor, Timelines, State machines, Curves, Meshes, ..) * AssetManager * Package management (create, deploy, consume packages) * Version control system support * Higherlevel language features * Improved debugging support * Visual diff/merge * VL integration in other tools"

Hello, I'm Corstiaan. I'm a .net developer from the Netherlands and I manage BuiltWithDot.Net. I created this site as a place where developers working with .net technology can showcase their projects and inspire other developers.
There's so much you can build with .net these days that I thought it would be nice to have a corner of the web dedicated to the breadth of .net. Enjoy!
